WebsterLT, An HTML Viewer Based on WebsterXL. Suitable for Acorn's RISC OS (3.1 or later) based computers.

About WebsterLT

This program allows you to View HTML format files from any local disk.
The differances between this Demo application and WebtserXL are as follows...
- It does not allow you to view files on the Internet or those on Network filesystems.
- Printing is not supported.
- Javascript is not supported.
- Inline PNG image are not supported.
- Plugins are not implemented (and no space is left for them)
- Table decoding is significantly slower.
- Your choice of text and background colours is limited to the desktop 16. Although any supported colour is available using the Font tag.
- The configuration options for the above are or course disabled.
Standard URLs are used thoughout. URLs are Translated as required.
Decoding of pages is fully interactive, so you can watch a page appearing.
Decodes Most HTML Tags as used in Netscape on which it is loosely based.
- Some of the more useful Netscape specific HTML extensions are also implemented. (Centering etc.)
Displays inline XBM, GIF, JPEG and Sprite images.
This Window is expandable to full screen size by dragging the Resize box or clicking on the Toggle Size box.
RISC OS 3.00 Compatible.
All fonts used are user Configurable. (See Online Help).
Online Help available via the RISC OS !Help Application.
System Variables can be used to point links to files as can pseudo Filing systems. (e.g. file://localhost/%3cWebsterLT$Dir%3e/!Help.html and file://localhost/Webster:!Help.html, Both Point at the !Help/html file when the link is followed)
Pages can be saved as draw, text or a combination of HTML and GIF/JPEG images.

In the following list ^ means press the key labeled Ctrl.

Key          Action
^B           Back in the history list (Goto to the last Page Clicked on).
^F           Forward in the history list (Only works after a 'Back').
^Home        Goto the 'Home Page'.

F4           Open the search window to search the currrent page.
F8           View or Edit the code that created the page.

up arrow     Scroll window upwards by 'One line'.
down arrow   Scroll window downwards by 'One line'.
left arrow   Scroll window left (if is it wider than the screen).
right arrow  Scroll window right (if is it wider than the screen).
^up arrow    Scroll window to the top.
^down arrow  Scroll window to the bottom.
Page Up      Scroll window upwards by 'One Window Height'.
Page Down    Scroll window downwards by 'One Window Height'.
